No sure about this one, is it a spoofed header? if so why would anyone want to spoof the googlebot header
66.115.160.58 -- "Googlebot/2.1 (+www.google.com/bot.html) should I add it to the IP list ? Steve |

Yes, it is spoofed. Here is the report from DNSStuff on that IP address: www.dnsstuff.com/tools/wh...115.160.58
You can see it isn't registered to Google. Also, when you do a reverse DNS lookup on the IP address, you come up with the domain nat301.national-net.com. Again, it's not a Google property. People spoof the Googlebot user agent in an attempt to defeat cloaking software. Do not add this IP address to your KloakIt control panel, unless you want to put it in your sucker list. |
