I came up with a helpful little script for those of you who run multiple installations of KloakIt on a single server (single IP address).

You see, the problem with hosting a lot of installations on a single server is that there is a possibility that your server will be banned from the iplists.com website due to a perceived denial of service attack when all of your KloakIt installations attempt to update their IP address lists simultaneously. They play games with the "unlimited" subdomains..its bullshit.
I asked for them to change my limit of 10 subdomains..as they advertise unlimited.
The tech guy then decides to poke around inside my cpanel..and discovers 5 subs with Kloakit installs.
He classified these as a "possible resource hog" since I told them i wanted to build more...and they kicked my...

Love the software..!changed hosts...deleted the old account and trying a reinstall on new hosts recommended on this forum.
The software appears to think I am doing a multiple install rather than single which is what my license is for.

KloakIt.com domain was temporarily down

For the last couple of days the kloakit.com domain was temporarily down, due to a DNS server error, which has been fixed. Everything seems to be working as it should now.

During that time, if you sent me an email, it may have bounced back at you. You might want to resend it if this is the case.

This problem will not have affected Kloakit installations that were already installed.

Yes, it is possible to force KloakIt into an infinite loop situation. And it's a "bad thing".

Say you have a cloaked index page called "index.html". And, say your normal page URL (the page you show human visitors to your cloaked pages) is the home page of the website (index.html).

What happens when somebody visits this cloaked index page?

Somebody visits your cloaked index page, activating the cloaking script.

It has come to my attention that there is a bug in KloakIt version 3.5041 (the version which was current previous to today's update), which will make it so the patching system fails to notify you of the available update. However, there is an easy workaround...

Hi, I just install KloakIt into my system. but the problem here is after I cloaked a page, there are several problems

First:
I try to cloak my index page and several other page. But after the cloaking, when I try to view my page, the content of each page is the same with the index page..

Looks like not many people use cloaking these days (or are they doing it quietly?)
Is cloaking still a good idea? Search engine programs are much more advanced than

Hi Everybody,

I made an important update to KloakIt 3.5 available today. It will fix the bug that caused the control panel to hang when the server that has IP address updates is down.

By the way, I apologize for that server going down. It is hosted on iplists.com, which was experiencing some growing pains. I moved the domain to a new server and the problem should be all cleared up.

Hello everybody,
I know its not an ethical question but i need some answers.
Can i use Kloakit on some hacked domains with high PR ? I tried to install it and it gave me some errors. First one is the well known 500 error and second one is just showing me the plain text of the install script and nothing else. The path to the perl is good but i can`t make it work. Could someone explain me why I see the plain text version of the install script ?

It's nice for me because with their reseller account, $19.95/month, you have unlimited domains and when create one account, you can choose one different server between 10 of them, in several places in the world. California, Iowa, Berkshire...

So, you have 10 class-c ip's (shared with others) where to choose. As you know, it's very good for seo because you can interlink your pages as all of them where not yours, and all from the same cpanel.
